Terms and Conditions
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Omunity Meditation website (ommeditationindia.com) and your participation in any program offered by Omunity (OPC) Private Limited. By submitting an application or making a payment, you agree to these terms. Please read them before applying.
2. Programs
Omunity offers residential meditation teacher training programs in Varkala, Kerala, India, including: the 21-Day 200H Meditation and Pranayama Teacher Training, the 12-Day Meditation and Pranayama Immersion, and the 6-Day Silence and Meditation Retreat. Program content, dates, teachers, and schedules are subject to change. We will notify confirmed participants of any significant changes as early as possible.
3. Applications and bookings
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. We review each application and reserve the right to decline any applicant at our discretion. Your place is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us and pay the required deposit.
4. Payment
A deposit is required to confirm your place. The amount will be communicated during the application process. The remaining balance is due before or upon arrival, as specified in your confirmation. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or PayPal. Payments are accepted in EUR, USD or INR. Exchange rates are determined at the time of payment.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Deposit
A deposit of 300 EUR is required to reserve your place in any program. This deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance, including cancellation, medical reasons, or visa issues.
Cancellation by you
If you cancel your participation, the deposit is forfeited. No refund is issued on any amount paid. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@ommeditationindia.com.
Cancellation by Omunity
If we cancel a program due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or insufficient enrolment, we will offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to another date. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred outside of the program fee.
6. Transfers and deferrals
If you wish to postpone your program to a later date: with 30 days or more notice before the start date, you may transfer at no additional cost, subject to availability. With less than 30 days notice, a transfer fee of 100 EUR applies. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@ommeditationindia.com. Transfers are subject to availability and can only be made once.
7. Health and fitness
Our programs are physically and mentally demanding. By applying, you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and suitable for intensive residential practice. You are required to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or mental health history that may be relevant to your participation. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the program if we reasonably believe your condition puts you or others at risk. We are not a medical or therapeutic facility. Our programs are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
8. Participant conduct
Participants are expected to treat teachers, staff, and fellow participants with respect at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, harmful, or incompatible with the program environment, without refund. Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted on campus or during program activities.
9. Liability
Participation in yoga, meditation, and physical practice carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omunity (OPC) Private Limited is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to property arising from your participation in our programs or your visit to our campus. You are responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses and cancellation.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Omunity website and in our program materials, including curriculum content, written materials, images, and videos, is the property of Omunity (OPC) Private Limited and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission. Upon completing the 200H Teacher Training, you receive a certification to teach. This does not transfer ownership of Omunity's curriculum or materials.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at ommeditationindia.com/privacy-policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the website or participation in a program following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in our programs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
